The Random Name Picker draws one name at a time from a list you control, giving classrooms, livestreams, and offices a visibly fair way to pick a person.
How to pick a random name
Paste or type your participants into the entry list, press Spin, and the wheel stops on a single name. Remove the selected person if you want everyone to be drawn exactly once, or leave them in to allow repeats.

The wheel renders smoothly up to a few hundred entries. For very large lists, group entries into rounds rather than spinning one giant wheel.
Is every name equally likely to be picked?
Yes. Each entry occupies the same arc on the wheel and the result is driven by a uniform random value, so every name has the same probability.
Can I remove a name after it is picked?
Yes. Delete the selected entry from the list before the next spin so nobody is drawn twice.
Does the Random Name Picker save my list?
The list persists while your tab is open. Bookmark the page or export the list manually if you need to reuse it in another session.
